A group of Dundee student have completed a cross-country bike ride to help people in developing countries.

A project aimed at introducing art practice to young people in Dundee has been hailed a success by it organisers. The seven-week course, run by Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design graduates Anna Orton and Simon Reekie, culminated in an exhibition of the 12 students' work for family and friends earlier this week.

Members of the Japanese community are hoping the combined generosity of Dundee FC fans and Courier readers will help boost their funds for the rebuilding effort in their home country.
