The University Chaplaincy will tomorrow hold a memorial service for former Anatomy lecturer Dr David Dawson, who sadly passed away on September 25th.

Dr Dawson was an inspirational teacher to many students during his time at Dundee. Originally from Colorado, USA, he moved to the University of Dundee in 1992, and taught here until his retirement in 2007.

After retirement, he remained active in teaching, serving as a visiting professor at Durham Medical School, Northumbria University, St George's University (Grenada), and at King Saud University in Riyadh, where he taught members of the Saudi royal family.

The memorial service for Dr Dawson will take place at 3pm on Wednesday, 12th October in the University Chaplaincy
