Volunteering fair attracts national interest

Voluntary organisations from across the UK will be represented at a student and graduate recruitment fair hosted by the University of Dundee next week.

The Volunteering Fair at the Bonar Hall on Wednesday February 23rd will have over 60 organisations in attendance, some coming from as far as the South of England.

'This is the largest number of organisations we have ever had for the Volunteering Fair and we are hoping that will be matched by a record number of students as well,' said Karen Sleith, Employer Marketing Manager in the Careers Service at the University.

'This is one of several fairs which the Careers Service runs throughout the year, designed to give students and graduates the opportunity to meet with employers and institutions and find out about different employment sectors and the range of opportunities available to them to enhance their employability.'

A full list of exhibitors can be seen at www.dundee.ac.uk/careers/fairs/we_fair.htm.

The Volunteering Fair takes place in the Bonar Hall from 11 am to 3 pm on Wednesday. The fair is organised by the University Careers Service and Dundee University Students Association.
