Law students kick off the year with prizegiving
The top performing students in the Law School at the University of Dundee will be honoured at their annual prizegiving today (Thursday September 16th).
Over 20 students from across the entire degree course will be recognised for their achievements in the ceremony held in the University's Dalhousie Building.
"Teaching and learning is at the heart of what the Law School is about," said Professor Alan Page, Dean of the Law School. "It is right therefore that we should begin the new academic year by applauding the achievements of our students, and the dedication and hard work of those who teach them."
The Dean's Medal, which is awarded occasionally to any student who, in the opinion of the Dean, has `exhibited outstanding and exemplary efforts in the course of their studies' is being given to Lynsey McFarlane.
