Lorraine Kelly to open 2010 Dundee Degree Show

Photo opportunities:

Thursday, 20th May:

• 6.00pm at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design reception. Lorraine Kelly, Professor Pete Downes, Principal of the University of Dundee, and key DJCAD personnel will be available for pics.
• 8.30pm at Dundee University Students Association. Lorraine Kelly will be officially opening the 2010 Dundee Degree Show on stage.

Friday 21st May:

• 9.30pm at DUSA. Turner Prize winner Martin Creed and his band will be performing.

Interview opportunities are available in advance with graduate students, while photo opportunities with Lorraine Kelly and students will be available on Thursday, May 20th and with students and their families on Friday, May 21st.

Please note that the Degree Show Industry Night photo call with Lorraine Kelly, Professor Pete Downes, Principal of the University of Dundee, and key JCAD personnel will now take place at 6pm on Thursday, May 20th.

This takes place before Lorraine, VIP guest at this year's Degree Show Industry Night and a former rector of Dundee University, is taken on a tour of exhibits around DJCAD. She will then officially open proceedings during the invite-only Industry Night held at Dundee University Students Association (DUSA).

She will cut the ribbon following a catwalk show of new work from graduating students from the Interactive Media Design, Textile Design, Jewellery & Metal Design, Graphic Design, Illustration and Product Design programmes.

The following night (Friday, May 21st) will see artist and musician Martin Creed, winner of the 2001 Turner Prize, mark a Preview Night held for students, their families and friends, when his band perform live. Media access to DUSA can be obtained on production of a press card.
