Graduating students at the Tower Building
Over 50 students who have successfully completed this year’s Access Summer School at the University of Dundee will 'graduate' on Tuesday July 20th.
The Dundee University Access to Learning (DUAL) Summer School guarantees a place at University to all those who pass the course.
This year’s school has attracted a broad mix of students, as Dr John Blicharski, Access and Participation Manager at the University, explains.
'We have a great mix of students this year, from those who have just left school to some who are returning to study, including some who are looking to change careers such as a few ex-military personnel,' said Dr Blicharski.
The students will gather for a graduation ceremony in the D’Arcy Thompson Lecture Theatre, in the University’s Tower Building on Perth Road, Dundee, on Tuesday July 20th.
The ceremony will be attended by the Lord Provost of Dundee, John Letford, and other local dignitaries.
