Book sale raises cash for Haiti fund
Staff and students at the University of Dundee have raised more than £400 for Save The Childrens Relief Fund for Haiti.
The Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification, part of the College of Life Sciences, held a second-hand book with all proceeds going to the Fund.
Professor Sue Black, Director of the Centre, has first-hand experience of dealing with the aftermath of major disasters. She said, It is often when the media starts to turn away from a disaster such as this that the need for support becomes greatest. I am delighted that our staff and students have been able to do their own small bit to make sure that Haiti isnt forgotten and that aid continues to reach a country which desperately needs it.
