Nicol & Murray in rector race

Ex-Scotland rugby captain Andy Nicol and Craig Murray, the former British ambassador to Uzbekistan, have been confirmed as the candidates in the election for the next Rector of the University of Dundee.

The election will be held on Friday February 16th, preceded by hustings in Dundee University Students’ Association on Tuesday February 13th.

The winning candidate will succeed television presenter Lorraine Kelly, who has stood down after three years in the post.
