Breast Cancer Research funds

Regarding the judgement at the Court of Session today concerning the release of £1.5 million in funds from Breast Cancer Research (Scotland) to be used for breast cancer research at the University of Dundee, Professor Alastair Thompson, Professor of Surgical Oncology at the University medical school and a leading researcher in breast cancer. said:

"This is fantastic news and I am delighted that monies which were raised will now be used in the way originally intended. Many people worked very hard to raise these funds and it is great to see that the money can now be spent appropriately on top-quality breast cancer research here in Dundee."
