Lord Robert Winston to present Greatest Minds Lecture

The well known scientist and presenter, Professor Lord Robert Winston will present "The Science Delusion" in the University's Greatest Minds Lecture on Wednesday 25 April (Bonar Hall, 6pm).

Lord Winston is Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College and runs a research programme in the Institute of Reproductive and Developmental Biology where the long-term aim is to improve human transplantation techniques.

In his lecture, Lord Winston will explore the popular misconception that science and religion are at loggerheads. He argues that although we now have a 'rational basis' for analysing the world, we are still in need of human spirituality.
