SLS celebrates student success
Forty-one students from the School of Life Sciences were congratulated for their outstanding academic performance at the School's annual prize-giving ceremony in November 2005.
Second year student, Stephen Holland, picked up five awards including an Armitstead Bursary, and medals for Comparative Physiology, Genetics, Cellular & Molecular Biology and Drugs & Drug Targets.
In total, more than 62 medals and prizes were awarded, including two given every year in memory of Jonathon Glover, a PhD student at the School who died when ice-climbing in Glen Doll, Angus, in 1982.
