Students indulge in global feast
Around 150 students from all over the world were recently given the chance to sample each other's culture at the International Food Evening at Dundee University Student's Association.
"The International Food Evening offers a great opportunity to bring all nationalities together where everyone can learn more about each other's culture in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere," said International Student Support worker Susan Scott.


Second Supercoach
Sharon Bamford, CEO of the Scottish Institute for Enterprise, delivered the second `Supercoach' session to the Centre for Enterprise Management's successful Enterprise Gym project in November.
Sharon's job involves stimulating enterprise and entrepreneurship in Scotland's universities, matching the main objectives of the EGym at which was established to encourage students to get `business-fit'.


International students visit World of Whisky
A group of students from China, Poland and Pakistan studying the intercultural aspects of professional communication recently visited Dewar's World of Whisky in Aberfeldy.
The visit was intended to add context to the theory studied in the Strategic Enterprise module, which forms part of the Masters in International Professional Communication, and explored the entrepreneurial skills and vision of the Dewar family.
