TICR BALL - Carnaval de Cuba

Be swept away by the Carnaval and experience Latin fever at this year's TICR ball.

GMTV star and University rector, Lorraine Kelly will host Carnaval de Cuba at the Apex City Quay Hotel on Saturday 9 October (7pm until 2am). The evening will begin with Cuban cocktails, followed by a three-course dinner with wine, Cuban dance and music (Rhumba Tabla and Space Dance studio), charity casino and further entertainment provided by local band Ringer. There are opportunities to win fantastic prizes such as beauty salon treatments worth more than £300, limited edition art, camping equipment, and hotel accommodation. A star auction will be held for exclusive designer jewellery, a privately catered dinner party, flying lessons, a holiday in Portugal and a fantastic trip to London with a private tour of GMTV studios.

All money raised will be donated towards the TICR campaign, which still urgently needs £1m to purchase essential equipment and to refurbish much needed laboratory space.
