Glover Trade scholarships

The Glover Trade, one of the Nine Incorporated Trades of Dundee, has awarded scholarships to local students studying textiles on the taught postgraduate Master of Design course within the School of Design.

The scholarships are intended for students who wish to study a textile design related programme of study through the School of Design's MDes programme and postgraduate research programme.

This year's winners are Lorraine Anderson and Elizabeth Donald. A three year Scholarship for a PhD in Textiles will also be awarded when a suitable candidate is selected.

The cheques were presented by Martin Smith of the Glover Trade. Also in attendance were Marlene Ivey, Course Director for MDes, Professor Tom Inns, Head of the School of Design, and Professor Georgina Follett, Dean of Faculty of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design.
