Eric and Ann Corstorphine recently chose the unusual venue of the hospital chapel at Ninewells for the renewal of their wedding vows.
Having been in the nursing profession for 39 years and as a Nursing Lecturer with the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Ann has a strong connection with Ninewells Hospital. The family’s links with Dundee University are long established: Eric is also a graduate, as well as the couple’s son who is now undertaking a PhD at the University.
The medical theme was carried through the whole occasion, with Father Aldo, the Hospital Chaplain, conducting the ceremony and a few patients helping the couple celebrate, along with their family, friends and colleagues.
