Funfit for kids this summer

The increasingly popular summer funfit sessions for kids resume at the Institute of Sport and Exercise at the end of term on 7 July until 15 August.

The programmes are designed to improve he children's motor skills and co-ordination, learn new sports and physical activities in a safe and challenging environment, developing existing physical ability and talent, and learn about health-related benefits of physical activity.

The courses range from funfit club for children aged 3-11 years including games, mini-circuits, hoppy ball fun, run-around to sports coaching courses in tennis and trampoline with emphasis on developing skills. Playfit is for 3-8 years olds to explore new games and activities. There is also Junior Sports, NRG Max, Indoor and Outdoor games and new this summer - a football coaching course in conjunction with Dundee football club. To mark the end of the summer's activities a barbeque for all participants will be held on Friday 15 August.
