The Spotlight awards are a significant event in the UK design and printing industry calendar. They are unique in recognising creative excellence in the use of nearly every kind of paper and board.

The winning design was a promotional brochure for print specialist Compass Print Ltd which communicates the company’s capabilities and versatility through an interesting concept, visuals and printing techniques.

This is the third UK design award for George and his 5 year old business which recently moved from Aberdeen to premises in Laurencekirk.

George said: "It’s always satisfying to be recognised by your industry peers and to prove that the best UK design and marketing talent is not confined to London. Our biggest reward however, is seeing our efforts bring real results for our clients."
