Driftworks catalogue shortlisted

Will McLean's Driftworks catalogue, published by Dundee Contemporary Arts, has been shortlisted for the first Art Newspaper/AXA Art Exhibition Catalogue Award. Led by AXA Art, the competition invited any non-profitable institution in the UK and Republic of Ireland to submit catalogues for visual arts exhibitions.

The final winner from a shortlist of 20 will be announced on Thursday 24 October at the Wallace Collection in London. The winning institution will receive £5,000 and a full page in The Art Newspaper.

AXA Art's Helen George said, " We were inundated with enquiries and submissions and received over 150 entries from large national institutions to small regional galleries. The standard was incredibly high, something of which this country's galleries and museums should be extremely proud."
