Archives visit
Special needs students got a chance to see IT software tackling real problems in the workplace when they visited the archives department.
Mike Bolik, senior archive assistant was able to show the students how the University uses IT to keep accurate records of the University's history and the latest software which has digitised images and records, revolutionising the archiving process and allowing speedy access to resources.
Owen Reilly, lecturer in IT at Dundee College is delighted with the progress that the students have been making and was pleased that the students were able to observe the uses of IT software in the University. He said: "All our students have been so impressive with the progress they have made tackling an IT module designed for mainstream students.
