Norma Stewart, sales ledger manager in the cash office beat off the wrath of Anne Robinson and the other contestants to win the cash prize on the BBC quiz show - The Weakest Link.

Norma answered a tough final question on angles to clinch the final jackpot of £3,360. She said: "It was nerve wracking but good fun. It's amazingly hard to think on your feet."

On Anne Robinson, she said: "She's not as serious as she looks. She didn't speak to us before the show but gave me a hug of congratulation afterwards and had a laugh with all the contestants."

The special themed edition on "jobs you love to hate" included a dentist, an estate agent and a traffic policeman. The BBC told Norma to say she was a student debt collector and when asked at the end how she would spend her money she said: "I think I'll make a donation to the student hardship fund."

Norma plans to use the rest of her prize money to go on holiday to Australia with her husband Derek.
