
Orthopaedic surgery suite opens A £50,000 state-of-the-art teaching and research suite for postgraduate students studying orthopaedic surgery was officially opened recently by Professor David Levison, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. Located within the Tayside orthopaedic and rehabilitation technology centre at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, the suite is fully equipped with state of the art multimedia PC stations using the latest orthopaedic learning and research techniques. The Master of Orthopaedic Surgery course is the only one of its kind in the UK. It was set up in 1993 by the department of orthopaedic and trauma surgery to meet the growing demand for education in the rapidly developing field of musculoskeletal medicine and surgery.
